Ages: 7-9
If players can start practicing from a young age, they can build strong habits and skills to improve their game. Players in this age bracket will learn the foundational skills of the game such as basic dribbling, passing, and shooting in order to be ahead of the curve for their future basketball endeavors.
Ages: 10-12
From ages 10 to 12 is a crucial point in a players basketball career as this is the time to readjust bad habits but also to solidify their foundational skills so they can continue their knowledge of the game. Players in this age bracket will continue to work on their foundational skills but take their game to the next level with new aspects like basic plays, coordination with teammates, and more advanced dribbling and shooting.
Ages: 13-15
Finally from ages 13 to 15, players have most likely experienced basketball in some sort of league or multi-team setting. Players in this age bracket will now develop skills beyond basketball. Leadership will play a major role, as these players will work on play making, calling plays, and leading their teammates to victory.
