On July 28th, the B3 Youth Clinic was able to partner with Clean The Coast (Click Here to learn more about Clean The Coast), a local high school student led organization that works to clean up trash on the Seacoast area. During the event we worked with our B3 youth in the community along with high school volunteers, to pick up close to 60 pounds of trash to create a clean and appealing basketball court and outdoor space in Gosling Meadows.
Along with the community clean up from 5pm-6pm, from 6pm-7pm we will also offered activities such as face paint, music, a basketball tournament (with prizes), free pizza, and more!

The WSCA is a local podcast station in Portsmouth, that us currently working on a podcast series called "It Takes a Village". This series cover substance prevention across the Seacoast and the B3 Youth Clinic was featured on the 13th episode. The B3 Youth Clinic is actively helping the youth in our community stay safe through positive and healthy activities!
On June 30th, after rescheduling and threats of thunderstorms, the B3 Youth Clinic hosted our Summer Kick-Off Event. Throughout the video, you will see clips of the event, words from Mayor McEachern, and interviews with youth from the B3 community! Today, June 9th, two of our B3 Youth were able to interview Mayor McEachern, Superintendent McLaughlin, and Principal Simons about the affect the B3 Youth Clinic is having in our community. Rain or Shine, we are still outside putting in that work. Not only did we have fun in the sun, but when it started raining, our B3 kids ran onto the court. The B3 Youth Clinic has been working with the Portsmouth Housing Authority and Youth Wellness Coalition as well as other local organizations for our B3 Summer Day Event. On May 31st marked the newest edition of the Paper Clip, the official news company of Portsmouth High School. In this edition the B3 Youth Clinic was featured in both an article and podcast from the company.
Margaret Montplaisir, a graduating senior student at Portsmouth High School (PHS), and a player on the schools Varsity Girls basketball team, took her passion for the game to the classroom. During Margaret's Journalism class, she was tasked with writing an article for the school newspaper and decided to follow the journey of the B3 Youth Clinic. John Forrest and Joe Viens are also two graduating seniors at Portsmouth High School, and they two wanted to follow the journey of the B3 Youth Clinic, but in a different form. Today, May 15th, 2024, New Hampshire Governor, Chris Sununu speaks about the positive impact the B3 Youth Clinic has on the community. Not only does it provide youth from all different backgrounds the ability to play basketball, but it provides its players with the mentorship from successful players.
